Week of 8/13/2018
This week we are working through the nature of science- that being the scientific method. We will be reviewing what scientists do, why science is important and practicing some hands on tasks.
I would like to note that all students will be required to complete a science fair project this year.
There will be a 5th grade hosted science night with more details and support for the science fair. As soon as it is approved for the calendar we will let you know.
Field Trips:
We have planned a couple of science based field trips this year.
October- The Enviormental Center (Hernando County)
November- Kennedy Space Center
February- Homosassa Springs
March- 5th Grade Sea World Trip
April- South Florida Water District
